1. Bhalukpong (Gateway to Western Arunachal)

Bhalukpong, on the Assam–Arunachal border, is the primary entry for the Tawang–Bomdila–Dirang circuit. From here, winding roads lead through Bomdila’s monasteries, Dirang’s orchards, and finally the snow-covered passes of Tawang. 2. Itanagar–Banderdewa (Capital Entry Point)

3. Roing–Mayudia–Anini (Eastern Entry Point)

For those seeking the raw beauty of Dibang Valley, Shantipur Gate near Roing is the main entry. This route takes you across the misty Mayudia Pass and into Anini, one of the most remote and breathtaking regions of Arunachal Pradesh, home to the Idu Mishmi tribe.

4. Pasighat (Siang Valley Gateway)

Pasighat is one of the oldest towns in Arunachal Pradesh and a hub for cultural and adventure tourism. Entry here opens routes to Aalo, Mechuka, and Yingkiong, with opportunities for river rafting on the Siang and exploring Adi tribal culture.
